Senior Connections Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced leader to provide operational management and strategic direction to our Development Services team.

The Senior Connections Co-ordinator will lead a multidisciplinary team while working to develop, manage and implement innovative business strategies and systems in order to deliver excellent customer service.

As well as putting your technical skills to the test, the role will provide an opportunity to apply your commercially orientated skills to manage key stakeholder relationships and maintain operational budgets.

With outstanding interpersonal, communication and organisation skills, you will lead and support significant business change initiatives, provide leadership to build workgroup capability and performance and deliver operational excellence.

Customer oriented with a commercial mindset and a good understanding of change management, you will demonstrate your senior leadership skills managing key stakeholders and have the ability to influence and engage others. An innovative approach to problem solving and a real drive for results is essential.

With a relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, engineering or technology, you will also have demonstrated experience leading teams through change, operational management or change management and business process re-engineering. Broad experience in a utility service sector would also be desired.

HR Change Management

Barwon Water’s Ryrie Street head office is currently being refurbished to consolidate all Geelong-based office employees in one location. A strong change management process will be essential to ensure seamless business continuity and delivering better ways of working.

The Change Management Advisor will work alongside the project team to develop and execute the organisational transformation plan. Reporting to the General Manager Customers and People, this newly created role will also work with senior management to manage the people change strategy and transition the business into state-of-the-art-facilities.

The successful candidate will lead best practice and drive change in ways of working, integrating the people strategy with the business strategy to boost organisational effectiveness. By providing strategic solutions on change initiatives, the role will be responsible for providing a range of learning and leadership services to improve executive and employee performance.

Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills will assist in developing timely and targeted draft communications to increase understanding and align efforts across the workplace. In addition to a solid background in change management methodologies and tertiary qualifications in human resources, you will also have the capacity and drive to bring innovative solutions.
