HR Change Management Advisor

Propel your career and make an impact by leading the people change management program for the redevelopment of our Ryrie Street office complex. As a member of the project team, you will manage the end-to-end people change program from the onset to post implementation.

Barwon Water is bringing its Geelong operations under one roof. The redeveloped office will consolidate all office based employees currently split between three locations. Success to the people change management process will be seamless business continuity while delivering better ways of working.

We are looking for an experienced Change Management Advisor to take on the challenge, lead best practices, work along side the project team and develop and execute the organisational transformation plan.

In this newly-created role reporting to the General Manager Customers and People, you will partner the senior leadership team in managing all aspects of the people change strategy and transition the business into state-of-the-art facilities. You will drive change in ways of working, integrating the people strategy with the business strategy to boost organisational effectiveness.

Providing strategic solutions on large scale organisational and change initiatives, you will work with key organisation representatives to enhance alignment and understanding of the vision and strategic objectives. Working collaboratively across the business, you will also engage the relevant stakeholders and assist with prioritisation and planning to deliver operational excellence.

Strong interpersonal, organisational and communication skills will assist in developing timely and targeted draft communications to increase understanding and align efforts across the workplace. You will lead and support significant organisational and change initiatives while providing a range of learning and leadership services to improve performance.

In addition to a solid background in people change management methodologies and tertiary qualifications in human resources, you will have the capacity and drive to bring innovative solutions.

Senior Connections Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced people leader to provide leadership, operational management and strategic direction to our Development Services department. Strong experience leading a team through change will be beneficial to this role.

The Senior Connections Coordinator will lead a multidisciplinary team and develop, manage, and implement innovative business strategies and systems to deliver excellent customer service. Not only will your technical skills be put to the test, this role will provide the opportunity to apply your commercially oriented skills when managing key stakeholder relationships and maintaining operational budgets.

With excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, you will lead and support significant business change initiatives and provide leadership to build workgroup capability and performance while delivering operational excellence.

You will be customer oriented and have a commercial mindset teamed with a good understanding of change management. With the ability to influence and engage others, you will also have an innovative approach to problem solving and a real drive for results.

A relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, engineering, or technology is essential. You will also have demonstrated experience in leading teams through change, operational management or change management and business process re-engineering. Broad experience in the utility services sector would also bean advantage.
