Analyst Programmer

Joining our Technology Services team, you’ll provide analysis programming expertise in the specialised areas of web development, web services, cloud platforms and software platform integrations.

In this role you’ll provide analysis programming specialising in delivering end-to-end technical solutions; from designing point-to-point integrations, linking new and existing enterprise and small scale systems, writing supporting code, developing web sites and other applications, improving processes, automating data flows and assisting with vendor management.

Construction Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and forward thinking Construction Supervisor to provide support and leadership to our Infrastructure Delivery team. Specialising in water industry infrastructure with a proven ability of industry best practice, you will deliver multiple asset construction projects across the Barwon region.

Your key responsibility will be to supervise on-site day-to-day construction activities, working closely in the field with project teams, suppliers and contractors. Emphasis will be placed on cost effective, timely, safe and professional delivery of asset construction.

Experienced in construction management, risk identification and assessments, you will play a key role in coaching employees, supervisors and contractors to sequence work, optimise programs and drive the right behaviours and SQE outcomes. You will also provide hands on technical advice to our infrastructure and asset management business.

With your effective leadership and team building skills, you will drive process improvements and review construction site processes for consistency with Barwon Water’s safety, quality and environmental management system.

Highly technical with a commercial mindset and good communication skills, you thrive in a dynamic environment, with an ability to work across multiple projects coordinating a range of support disciplines. You blend this expertise with an innovative approach to problem solving.

Self-motivated, you will bring strong organisational skills, demonstrate leadership qualities and use your excellent communication skills to build relationships and maximise business opportunities. You also have the ability to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders and assist with prioritisation and planning to deliver operational excellence.

With a bachelor degree or higher in engineering, including engineering expertise in civil, mechanical or similar, or solid hands on experience in construction supervision, you’ll be developing technical professional ready with postgraduate experience. Experience in project management will set you apart from other candidates. You’ve worked across most relevant sectors, including construction, utilities, and infrastructure or water services.

As a large component of this field-based role requires vehicle travel within and between the Barwon Water facilities, a current Victorian driver’s licence is required.
