Billing / Metering Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Billing / Metering Administrator to join our Customer Support team.

The role is responsible for managing all aspects of the billing life-cycle, from validating and processing inputs, system testing and investigations and providing exceptional customer service. This diverse role also involves aggregating complex data into input to generate invoices.

To be successful as a Billing / Metering Administrator, you will be highly analytical, able to apply root cause methodology and enjoy solving complex problems and implementing corrective actions.

Customer oriented, you have a commercial mindset teamed with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and engage others. As well as working as part of a team, you can also work autonomously, contributing to the overall team goal and building strong relationships across the business.

With high attention to detail and IT proficiency, you will maintain business information systems to ensure accurate information is available to assist team-made and informed decisions. Monitoring the end to end work flow, you are also able to anticipate, resolve and escalate for a seamless customer experience.

Previous billing/invoice meter experience and proficiency in billing systems such as Gentrack Velocity, SAP or similar is essential. You will have demonstrated experience in data analysis and stakeholder engagement, are methodical, adaptable and a self-starter, and have strong multitasking and organisational skills.

Metering Operations Administration Officer (scheduling / dispatch)

We are looking for a skilled scheduler/dispatch administration officer to join our Customer Support Metering team.

As the primary interface between internal customers and field staff, a large component of this role will be the daily assignment of field resources for both planned and unplanned work.

Working in a fast paced environment, you will prioritise, co-ordinate and ensure work is dispatched in a timely manner. You will schedule work to ensure efficient travel times between jobs and reschedule to meet business requirements, delivering exceptional customer service.

High attention to detail and strong IT skills will assist you to maintain business information systems and ensure accurate information is available to assist the team make informed dispatch decisions. By monitoring the end-to-end workflow, you can anticipate, resolve and escalate for a seamless customer experience.

A team player, you can also work autonomously, contributing to the overall team goal while building strong relationships across the business.

With previous dispatch and scheduling experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and engage others, you have an innovative approach to problem solving and enjoy taking on difficult challenges, delivering creative solutions.

Previous scheduling experience and proficiency in Excel and other relevant scheduling tools or systems is essential. Methodical, adaptable and a self-starter, you also have strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.

In this newly created role, reporting to the General Manager Customers and People, you will partner the senior leadership team in managing all aspects of the people change strategy while transitioning the business into new state-of-the-art facilities. You will be responsible for driving a real change in ways of working, integrating the people strategy with the business strategy to boost organisational effectiveness.

Providing strategic solutions on large-scale organisational and change initiatives, you will work with key organisation representatives to enhance alignment and understanding of the vision and strategic objectives. Working collaboratively across the business, you will effectively engage the relevant stakeholders and assist with prioritisation and planning to deliver operational excellence.

With your excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, you can effectively develop timely and relevant targeted communications. You will lead and support significant organisational and change initiatives and provide a range of learning and leadership services to improve performance.

Design Engineer: pipeline and infrastructure works

  • Contract (1 year)

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to specialise in pipeline, pump station and associated infrastructure design. The role will assist in developing designs, tender documentation and asset construction.

Drawing on your solid project management skills, you will be responsible for co-ordinating a range of support disciplines, including electrical, structural and geotechnical engineers.

Emphasis will be on cost effective, timely, safe and professional delivery of projects, encapsulating the project delivery process from development and approval, right through to implementation and close out. Understanding of industry best practice and application of relevant Australian standards is essential.

Customer oriented, you will have a commercial mindset teamed with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong leadership qualities.

Working collaboratively across the business, you will effectively engage the relevant stakeholders and assist with prioritisation and planning to deliver operational excellence. You will blend this expertise with an innovative approach to problem solving.

The role requires proven pipeline and hydraulics design experience. You must also be conversant with pipeline and pump sizing computations and AutoCAD in pipeline design and able to provide hands on technical advice to the infrastructure and asset management teams.

With a bachelor degree or higher in engineering, you will have significant work experience including engineering expertise in civil, mechanical or similar. Experience in project management in the utility, infrastructure or water services industry will set you apart from other candidates.
