Project Managers - Technology

We are looking for experienced project managers to support multiple ICT projects throughout the full project life cycle.

Operating within our newly-formed Program Management Office, your key responsibilities will be the delivery of projects and technical advice across our business. Emphasis will be on cost-effective, timely, safe and professional delivery of projects, encapsulating the project delivery process from design development and approval, through to implementation and close out. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will effectively engage relevant stakeholders and assist with prioritisation and planning to deliver business excellence.

As an experienced technology project manager, you will be focused on delivering business benefit through the successful implementation of projects. Customer oriented, you will have a commercial mindset teamed with good communication skills. You will bring excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and demonstrate true leadership qualities, blending this expertise with an innovative approach to problem solving.

With a bachelor degree or higher in ICT, engineering, business or similar, you will have significant work experience or be a developing professional with solid postgraduate experience ready to take the next step. As a project manager, you have worked across most relevant sectors, including utilities, infrastructure or water services and can apply your sound knowledge of project management to our complex infrastructure network.

Engagement and Change Management Professional

In this newly created role, we are looking for an experienced Technology Engagement and Change Management Professional to be a key influencing aspect in the successful transformation of our work practices, business processes and customer services through the delivery of technology projects identified through our business-led roadmap.

Operating within our newly-formed Program Management Office, you will provide support to Project Managers, Project Sponsors and the Senior Leadership Team in driving change communication and implementation across our organisation. Your key responsibilities will focus on developing and implementing change and communication initiatives for technology projects to assist in their successful execution, maximising business value while containing business impact.

Your passion for innovation, technology and business transformation will shine as you engage with all levels of the organisation to ensure widespread understanding of initiatives and plans while aligning to business outcomes.

With excellent interpersonal skills (negotiating, marketing and organisational), you will help develop communication programs, specifically designed to meet the needs of each of the business units. These custom programs will include a range of techniques, such as learning and promotional services, education, forums and workshops. You will help develop content across a range of channels to enable successful change.

In addition to a solid background in change management methodologies and tertiary qualifications in technology, ICT, or similar, you will have the capacity and drive to bring innovative solutions.

ICT Business Analyst

Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Business Analyst to help improve our business and make an impact. As part of our ICT Project Management Office, you will work alongside and support all parts of our business.

This role will contribute to the selection of our forward plan of ICT projects and the pre-planning of projects. You will work with business areas to document and drive innovative ICT solutions through the analysis of data and work processes, documenting requirements and process flows.

With your excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, you will have the ability to influence and engage others, build relationships and optimise project outcomes. You will demonstrate attention to detail, high-level problem solving abilities and an understanding of integrated ICT environments.

You understand and can apply best practice approaches such as the IIBA’s, Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). You will be experienced in business analysis tools (SWOT and RACI matrix), process diagrams and procedures to support end-to-end business systems. You have a sound understanding of ICT applications, databases and hardware, which may include Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

Customer-oriented, you are a strategic thinker with a commercial mindset. You will demonstrate effective leadership, a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to drive process improvement.

With a bachelor degree or higher in Business, Information Technology or similar, you have demonstrated experience in business process mapping, requirements elicitation, stakeholder engagement, identification of benefits and developing business cases.
