Property Realisation Specialist

This commercially focused position plays a key role in delivering economic, environmental and social outcomes through coordination and implementation of Barwon Water’s property realisation program.

With your strong commercial acumen, land development experience and understanding of governance frameworks, you are competent in all aspects of property disposal from stakeholder management, site supervision, transacting property and land sales, contracts, cost control, complex project and program management, through to management reporting.

Highly creative, you understand the importance of effective sales and marketing, and have a deep understanding of the land development industry and real estate market. You’ll support the delivery of multiple projects contributing to the organisation’s structured land development and realisation program. Leading project assurance reviews, providing recommendations to identify risk areas to ensure successful outcomes, you’ll also identify opportunities and the creation of proposals to solve complex business problems.

With your strong analytical skills, and the ability to solve complex problems, you will assess the effectiveness of business processes and identify collective value and dependency across projects. You will use your strong communication skills to build relationships and maximise business opportunities.

Customer-oriented with a commercial mindset, you’ll drive innovative solutions and continuous improvement through collaboration with stakeholders to identify and execute cost and performance improvement strategies, risk management and project planning. What’s more, you’ll bring along excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, and demonstrate strong leadership qualities, have the ability to influence and engage others and blend this expertise with an innovative approach to problem solving.
With a degree or extensive experience in engineering, commerce, business or property, you are a highly regarded professional ready to take the next step in your career. Proficient in the real estate or development industry and property transactions at all levels, you are also committed to delivering works safely, on time and on budget.

A Victorian driver licence is required.
