Barwon Water is inviting Colac and district residents to have their say on the region's future water supplies.
The corporation will have a stand in the commerce pavilion at Saturday's Colac Garden and Lifestyle Expo where residents can learn about integrated water cycle management and potential water sources.
Visitors to the stand will be asked for feedback on the various options. This will be considered in preparing Barwon Water's 2013-2018 Water Plan and 50-year Water Supply Demand Strategy.
The Water Supply Demand Strategy, which is updated every five years, is part of Barwon Water's 50-year planning cycle and helps determine future capital projects and supply initiatives.
It is also a key component of the corporation's Water Plan, which is reviewed by the Essential Services Commission to determine water prices and service standards.
The Barwon Water stand will be open between 9am and 3pm.
