The $90 million Northern Water Plant project involves the construction of a new water recycling plant in northern Geelong.
The plant will supply approximately 2000 million litres of Class A recycled water a year for use in Shell Geelong Refinery's industrial processes, saving 5% of Geelong's current drinking water demand.
It will also provide recycled water for nearby sports and recreational facilities such as Stead Park.
Construction is scheduled to begin late 2010 and to be completed by mid-2012.
Come and learn more about the project at our information kiosk in the Corio Shopping Centre.
