Temporary pipe across the Anglesea River

We are continuing to work on a temporary sewer pipe across the Anglesea River.

This temporary pipe has been laid across existing walking tracks and bridges from the west to the east side of the river between Coogoorah Park and Wray Street.

Work is now underway on restoring pedestrian access to the tracks.

The temporary pipe will remove the need for trucks to cart sewage to the nearby Anglesea Water Reclamation Plant.

It will also allow the transfer of recycled water from Aireys Inlet to continue while the new sewer main is constructed beneath the river bed.

This project is being delivered by the Barwon Water Alliance.
