Your water supply: Lorne
Lorne is supplied exclusively from the Allen Reservoir on the St George River, about 3 kilometres west of the township.
The picturesque Allen Reservoir in Lorne.
Water is delivered via pipeline to the Lorne Water Treatment Plant on Polwarth Road (adjacent to the Lorne customer service centre).
The water is filtered and disinfected, and fed to one of 5 tanks across 3 pressure zones.
Lorne's water distribution network is relatively complex due to the town's steep terrain.
